Information and Support : Asthma Information

Asthma information and web links

Asthma support groups and associations

We have compiled some general asthma support groups and associations that is very incomplete. If readers wish to let us know about other worthy organizations, in all countries, please get in touch through the "contact us" link at the foot of this site. Because most support groups are local the best we can offer right now is the large web sites that provide opportunities to start your own or give access to resources and organizations.

There is an overlap between this section and the following asthma web links. We will try to define these more closely as we get further information so please revisit this page often to see what changes and updates have been entered.

One of the most substanial health sites in the US is WebMD. This is a huge resource and although it is not a CAM site it does offer a range of support groups and contacts and is well worth visiting.

in the UK you could visit netdoctor who provide a list of National Support Groups.

Allies Against Asthma although now closed has a wealth of asthma information for children.

AsthmaNow is another resource filled site based in New Hampshire but full of relevant information.
